Sam came to do an estimate on replacing a copper pipe for the dryer and adding another valve to the existing piping for the steam option on the dryer. 500 dollars! I tried to tell my mom it was a rip-off but she went ahead with the work anyway. He didn't write the individual prices next to what was done or replaced. There is no way the work he did cost that much. I convinced her to leave this place alone. He replaced the copper line with about 3.5 ft of,what looks like, used black pipe, added a new shut off valve for the water to the dryer, and charged for the washing machine hose and flexible gas line. My parents got got. On top of being ripped off, my parents were told that the work would be done between 10am and 12pm. At around 2 or 3 o'clock my mom had to call the company to see why Sam didn't show. He was backed up with his other jobs but someone could have called my mom to let her know. He showed up later and said he would return the next day to do the work. If that isn't the run-around, then I don't know what is.

First of all, I called to have a bird removed from my basement chimney flute and they advertise they do chimney work. I called in the early evening and didn't get serviced till after 11 p.m. When the guy came out, he indicated he really didn't like doing chimney work and that was obvious. He didn't even check the flute to see if the bird was in there;dead or alive. All he did was hit on it and say, "May it went back up." Then I had to pay $325.00 for that because it was "Sunday"; seriously? Then to put a cap on the chimney, he said would cost me $2475.00. They are EXTREMELY TOO EXPENSIVE!! If this is the the kind of work they do for a chimney, I sure wouldn't trust them with any other construction work.
