This Company is a COMPLETE RIPOFF! Plumber shows up because of a slow flushing toilet! Brings in a manual hand auger, runs it into the toilet for 15 seconds, dumps a 5 gallon pail of water into the toilet and hands me a $225.00 bill. He was at my home for less than 10 minutes! Whatever you do, don't call this RIPOFF FIRM!

A technician came out yesterday to look at some leaky valves in my shower. He discussed where my problem was and gave a solution that would involve cutting into my tile shower surround and replacing my two handled tub controls with a single handle system. He said that the plumbing in my mid century house was not up to code and it was necessary to bring it to modern code. He quoted $1,025 to complete the project and then left without replacing the access panel he removed to look at my pipes. I had a different plumber come out to get a second opinion and the second plumber agreed that that extensive of a project was not necessary just to fix some leaky valves. The second plumber was able to make the repair on the day same day and charged me about $325. I feel like Roto Rooter wasn't trying to address my problem as easily as possible, but instead tried to scare me into a bigger, unnecessary project.

Sure, their service is a little on the higher side. However, when you’re in a pinch and you just need a drain cleaned, these guys were wonderful. I called the day before Thanksgiving late in the afternoon with a drain in the basement spitting backed up water onto my floor. They were absolutely professional and quick to help. Got me scheduled within a few minutes, the serviceman was there sooner than estimated. He unclogged the pipes in a matter of minutes and checked a few other entry points just to make sure. Serviceman was extremely professional and kind to us in a not-so-fun situation. You never want to have to call these guys, but if you do, you’ll be glad you did!

They will charge you a $100 trip fee even if you refuse the work. Looked at the website and it says they don't charge trip fees, was not told on the phone there would be a fee, and then, in addition to the work they did, was charged an extra $100 for the trip. Will never be using Roto Rooter again.

I needed them same day, and they arrived right away! They were so nice, helpful, and wonderful to work with. I am extremely happy with them, and will use them for plumbing needs again and again.
