We called Collins Plumbing and Heating this morning when we lost water pressure. Heidi answered, asked all the right questions and within a half-hour, Keith and Russ were at our door! They were exceedingly friendly and knowledgable, and worked well as as team. Turns out, we had broken 90 degree elbow in our well. They knew exactly what needed to be done to fix the problem. In a few, short minutes the issue was resolved and water was restored to our now happy home. I can't thank these two men enough for their exceptional service. What started out as a stressful and scary scenario (no water, mid-summer...) ended up as an up-lifting "and this is another reason why I love living in Maine" experience. In a disappointing world of plumbers that never call you back, Collins are a refreshing change of pace that have restored my faith in humanity. After calling and leaving massages with SIX DIFFERENT PLUMBERS in the region, I finally called Collins and nearly dropped the phone when an actual friendly human answered. They were booked up, but recognized that we had a bit of an emergency at our camp. They couldn't promise anything, but they said that they would try to fit us in. 24 hours later, the job was done, with quality replacement parts and a friendly note left on our counter explaining everything that had been done. I don't know what it says about humanity or the plumbing trade in general that this wildly exceeded my admittedly low expectations, but Collins is going to be my go to plumber in the future. Shawn and Evan are a great team. Very polite, neat and clean work that was very well done. Arrived on time and did a toilet drain repair avoiding high cost sewer pipe replacement. Could not be happier with the work. It was a two week wait for an appointment but our repair was not an emergency so it was easy to wait. 5 Stars from us !

I called for an estimate in april and at the end of june I am still waiting. Just after I called for an estimate the only work they have done started leaking first time I used it. They used subpar parts because they could not manage to weld copper. Now they demand payment to fix there lack of skill. I will NEVER use them again!

Arrived when he said he would, replaced our pump despite some problems along the way. Diligent worker, with fair prices and very understanding.
