We had great service from BGE Home. The service technician, Pat Wilhelm, arrived within the time window after calling ahead. He was kind, courteous and went above and beyond to service our system.
So disappointed in BGE Home. I had a new hot water heater installed in my home in March 2018. It was to have been a tall thin Rheem 50 gallon hot water heater with a $75 rebate, to replace my tall thin, AO Smith hot water heater that lasted nearly 20 years. Instead, I received a short, fat Bradford White (a brand I never heard of) hot water heater. It has never worked properly and I have yet to take anything more than a room temperature shower. When I contacted BGE the day of installation, the representative told me that that was "what they had on the truck." She assured me that Bradford White was a "good brand." Yet, the hot water heater has never worked properly and despite paying for an extended warranty and an extended service agreement, BGE insists on charging me for a service call and a new hot water heater. Not only is this not what I contracted for, the service I've received from BGE has been abysmal. My recommendation is not to use BGE HOME for anything! And, stay away from Bradford White products!
I called to have service done on my 7 year old furnace. They did arrive promptly. My wife was home at the time and the technician was rude. I dont know if they hire just sales people or they actually care about the customer. The cost to replace parts which were not broken was outrageous, our system works great why do I need to buy a bunch of parts????
