Mr. Fix It of Sierra Vista

Shady fellas, watch um. They will bill you thru the roof. Hear lots of scary story's. Re- no we have nothing to discus sir. I find it funny you even respond to my 4 star and not to the 1 star... You took my pops for $8600 for a job he found out should have cost him $2500-3000 tops. I wish I had known about it ahead of time because this company makes millions on people that don't know any better. Iv heard dozens of horror story's about this place. Is never ask for a bid on anything. New owners or not! Don't waste your time, this review stays

I was really hoping I would have been able to leave an amazing review since my first contact with Mr Fix It staff seemed to be very positive....but things took a turn..... From a storm during monsoons, some damage happened to my roof, fence, and stucco. My insurance company sent out an adjuster to provide an estimate for everything. Even though I had concrete roof tiles to match the rest of the roof, the adjuster included that in the estimate. The insurance company paid out on all those items and adjusted for age/depreciation....about $2,400. I had my house on the market and a potential buyer was showing interest in possibly making an offer so I told them right upfront about the damage and insurance claim. While I was looking for a contractor who could do the job relatively quickly, the buyer made an offer. All the contractors I had talked to said they were at lease 12-16 weeks out for jobs. I finally got Mr Fix It to come out but the man never provided me with an estimate. Instead he asked that I send the one from my insurance company. It was getting close to time when we needed to close on the house but because of the backlog, they would not be able to get the repairs made before closing. I asked if they would accept a deposit for more than what the insurance company estimated so it would satisfy the realtor (Joan Hays from Long Realty was yelling at me and the contractor.....beware if you ever have to meet her and definitely don't use her) and then they could just reimburse me when the job was complete. They agreed. Because of the weather, it took longer than expected to get the job done. After I emailed their office, I finally receive notice that the job was completed. They sent me the exact same receipt that they had given me when I gave them the $3,000 deposit (attached) and somehow miraculously the work for doing just the small part of the roof came out to exactly $3,000.....no breakdown of the materials, labor, taxes, etc.....just an even $3,000. I was told that, at no additional cost to me, they threw in repairing the rolled roofing on the front porch (they never contacted me about this and if it needed to be done, the new homeowner should have been charged). If you decide to use this company, insist upon them providing their own written estimate (I found out later they should have done their own) otherwise you may end up paying more for the job like I did. UPDATE: The owner called and we had a great conversation. Said he researched to find out what had happened and would refund $1200. Glad they are a company who assumes responsibility and makes things right. :-)

We had an plumbing emergency couple days ago and called every single plumber in Sierra Vista. But since it was after hours all we could do was leave messages. The only one that came back with a quick response by calling that same night was Erin, Mr. Fix It himself. Very next day he sent out one of his plumbers, Ben, who was very professional and quick at getting the job done. Thank you for the good and prompt service!

The folks at Mr. Fix it have left me with one of the most positive experiences with customer service in Arizona. Bill is an exceedingly competent team builder (no pun intended) who has an eye for talent that has resulted a wonderful team. Chelsea and Heather were exceptionally helpful, competent, and patiently courteous. Matt from Townley concrete worked perfectly in tune with this team concept, himself also bringing decades of experience and competence to the table. Matt and his team of workers (Tony, Juan, and Cruz) went above and beyond,doing well more than asked. Excellent people. Keep it up Sierra Vista!

Great experience for us. Scheduling with them is so simple. One call does it all. We had a plumber out this morning. I called yesterday. Their plumber Jack was very professional. Came in and got the job done. Quick!. Clean! Great attitude! Can't thank them enough!!!!!
