I contacted C and C because my water heater wasn’t working. I had already tried replacing the heating elements and that didn’t fix the problem so I asked them to come out and replace the heater. The service technician that came to the house was friendly, efficient, professional, and cleaned up after his work. Other than a new water heater it looked like he was never there. He also gave me advice on how to service the new heater because access to the elements and thermostats is different on the new heater. This is why I didn’t give the company a lower rating. All this said, I didn’t need a new $1,000 water heater. I needed a $13 breaker. The technician didn’t take the time to check to see if my heater was receiving efficient power before removing and replacing it. When the new one wasn’t producing hot water it took about two minutes to trace the problem to the breaker box and find out the breaker was bad. I was able to purchase and change the breaker myself. I contacted Joe, one of the owners of C and C and told him what happened. He didn’t have much to say to me other than ‘if there is anything you need in the future.....” at which point I stopped listening. There was never an apology or even an excuse. A couple days later my credit card was charged the FULL amount to include labor for the replacement of the water heater which I did not need. I would have been agreeable to paying for a service call (which I did need) and for all the parts I got (since I do have a new water heater now). I’m glad I’m in a position to pay for this colossal mistake and I don’t have to chose between hot water or putting food on the table for my family. I’m glad this didn’t happen to a less fortunate family.
The technician was prompt, polite and helpful. He took time to answer all of my questions.
The area's best for all your plumbing problems. They're not all about dollar and cents, reasonably priced, and they are big supporters of community events. THEY HAVE A GREAT PROFESSIONALISM AND really care about the safety and welfare of our communities. They have Great Radio ADs. as well
The serviceman Jeff was very polite, professional and courteous. I am looking forward to my well pump fixed by them now. My husband took care of all of this stuff and recently passed away and I had no clue where anything was. Jeff handled it like a pro.
I got their number off of the internet. They offered a 10% discount for seniors.My daughter was having surgery so I was at Washington Hospital Center when I called. They went to my house and did what seems to be a fine job and the charges where placed on my credit card and they left the bill.When I got home I noticed that I had not received the 10 % discount for being a senior citizen. Called the next day but was told it was to much trouble to refund me the $83.00 difference. Now I have to wonder just how honest they really are!!!!
