Big store everything u need for watever
I had a hard time finding an exterior door that had to be custom made,got a great deal and having it installed
I paid for the measurements of a patio door $30.00 They came and measured my door. I also bought a front screen door. The chain to hold the door was not installed so when the wind blows the door swings. And I do not want them to install my patio door now. I called and asked for the measurements so I can go to somewhere else and get a good door. They will not give me my measurements. I paid $30.00 for my measurements and he refuses to give it to me. NO MORE BUSINESS FROM ME!! I WILL BUY A PLANT FROM EDGEWOOD MD. HOME DEPOT, NEVER ANY INSTALLATIONS. BEWARE!!
Terrible customer service have to practically hunt someone down for any help.
Customer service is horrible at the edgewood store location. They never get back in contact with their customers. It took over 3 months of being promised phone calls back from reps in flooring department and several trips into store only to be told that someone will call me back In regards to my flooring concerns. At one point had the assistant manager greg from flooring department tell me he would check to see if manufacturer still had Hardwood available and if so they would come and replace it, once he had spoken to manufacturer he would get back in contact with me. A month had gone by I never heard anything back from greg, even after calling and speaking with the operations manager whom told me he had told him several times to call. Greg completely ignored me. The store manager Rob Miller never got in touch with me even after waiting 3 months and several times calling asking to speak to store manager until I called customer relations for home depot and lodged a complaint. My hardwood is only 2 years old and my house has no moisture issue what's so ever yet the manufacturer won't stand behind their product and home Depot who sold it to me won't do anything but offer 200$ "good faith" refund. Even after I was told by the assistant manager of flooring department that they would replace the affected peices. So for this ordeal that strung out for more then 3 months, the crappy customer service, the several times I had to call or go into the store, the empty hearted promises from their reps I just want to personally thank Greg, Becky, and Rob miller for being so great at a job that demands consistent customer service on a daily basis and for failing your customers. Home Depot just lost a faithful customer. To them I may not be their only customer, but they certainly aren't the only hardware store around either... I'll go try my luck at lowes! Good luck everyone else.... hopefully no one else has to go through similar issues.
