Very knowledgeable but when I told him we were in a tough situation he quickly tried to take advantage of us and charge us 2.5x the price that another company was willing to do the work for. Also he charged 150$ for the 30 minutes he was there to do an inspection of the expansion tank.

Affordable Plumbing was great had problems with gas hot water heater . Another company had come out ordered parts didn't need and left saying not able to fix.Affordable Plumbing came out on time worked on a hard to get to place called company that made the heater.They told him part I needed was under warranty.They sent the part to me free of charge and Affordable can back and installed the hard to get to part and I had hot water when he left . I will recommend them to anybody and will use them again.

I had a good experience with Affordable Plumbing when they serviced my gas hot water heater which was shutting off every few hours. They scheduled an appointment within 20 hours of my initial call. Although they were 15 minutes late they did call to tell me they were going to be late. During the service call, they were polite and efficient. They cleaned the burner element and the heater has been working solid now for several days. They told me that my 12 yr old heater was past the normal lifespan for these heaters (I confirmed that with the manufacturer), but they didn't try to sell me a new system (which I appreciated). I actually had to ask them if they install new systems (they do). The service charge was very reasonable. As I said earlier, they were polite and even offered useful information regarding how I can maintain the heater myself. I feel like the information they gave me was honest, helpful, and not a sales pitch. I would definitely call them again for future service.
