I just bought this house and the very first night, at 8 p.m. the toilet wouldn't drain. A family of four with one toilet in the house is a risk but having no toilet is out of the question. Would have been 5 stars if dispatch hadn't caught themselves up in a couple lies. "We have an agent finishing up a job in your area! He's finishing up so just travel time." I had called to check up on arrival time after an hour and got a different answer from a different representative saying he was coming from City W (not "in the area"). He actually came from City S and had to be woken up. Could dispatch have needed to switch techs? Sure, but the timeline and travel time from both cities point towards over promising/lying. Once he arrived, though, he was professional, courteous, and efficient. Tried to save me money by graduating the efforts from cheapest to most expensive. He discussed/ showed where he thought the clog was and enlisted my help to hear where the auger was in the pipes from the basement. Sadly, it wound up being the most expensive because of where the clog was. Because of the work done, I now have a 6 month warranty on the pipe from clogging; a value added in peace of mind. A pity the toilet didn't clog during regular business hours but at least Roto-rooter got us sorted. Would recommend for after hours emergency type calls but would have preferred to call around due to the pricing if I had the option.

Dave just left my house and I had to jump right on here to tell you how awesome he was. Great personality and great plumber. Took a look everywhere he needed to and gave me an explanation of services. I took his recommendation on services and he unclogged my line and got it all moving in the right direction! Thank you Dave.

Matt was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. We had a blocked toilet and tub along with a very old, slow-flushing toilet. He explained everything in detail to help us understand our house better and provided ideas for potential improvements in future. We didn’t get the sense that he was rushing to leave without truly understanding and fixing the problem (unfortunately the case with other plumbers we’ve had to our house before). I will absolutely use their services again.

We’ve had a drainage issue at our house affecting two of our urinals. I called Roto Rooter today and was delighted when Stephen H. showed up the same day, 3 hours after my call. Stephen helped point out the issue quickly and fixed both urinals within 2 hours after having taken both out of the wall. Stephen was friendly and did an excellent job in such a short amount of time.
