Robert charged $500.00 to disconnect and reconnect a new slide-in gas range. I was shocked!! I paid $225.00 for the same service from another plumber 6 years ago. Absolute price gouging. Robert said it took two men to disconnect and reconnect. Same service 6 years ago required only one person. Robert sited price increases, travel (I live in Natick, he lives in Natick) removal of packaging from the new stove. The delivery folks took ALL packaging after delivery. I did caution them that my flooring (fiber floor) could tear if stove was dragged and I placed a 36" square of cardboard under the stove (myself). Robert said due to this he needed a second man. Had he alerted me I would have stayed home from work and helped to slide the stove into place. Just shameful!!!

Robert and his team are amazing. Our furnace died on us. With us being new to the Cape, we did not know anybody. Someone reccomened Duffy to us. Robert came and gave us an estimate on Tuesday and had the whole job done in 2 days. They are the nicest gruop of guys. I highly recommend them. Verry professional and they did a tremendous job.
