NOTE: HE WAS MY PLUMBER BEFORE HE WAS MY BOYFRIEND/FIANCE THEN EVENTUALLY HUSBAND. AND ME BEING MARRIED TO HIM HAS ZERO BEARING ON THE FACT THAT YOU SIR ARE STILL 100% INCORRECT ABOUT A CONTRACTOR'S BOARD HAVING A PLUMBERS LICENSE NUMBER ????. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU RUN YOUR MOUTH SIR. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE INSIGHT. To whomever you are Marcus, number one I have an Invoice from BJs PLUMBING and it most definitely has his PLUMBING license number on there. Note to you, I capitalize and put emphasis on PLUMBING/PLUMBER because he is just that. A plumber. NOT A CONTRACTOR. Which leads me to number 2 - no, you sure will not find his PLUMBING license number if you look it up under the "contractor's board". Would you like me to explain why...AGAIN??? BECAUSE HE IS NOT A CONTRACTOR. He is a PLUMBER. So I guess it would only make sense for his PLUMBING license not to be anywhere on a list of CONTRACTORS. Considering they are 2 separate boards. But I'm sure you already knew that ????. I also find it hard to believe he "conned" you a few years ago when he has only been in business for himself for a year. Sounds to me like either A) you are one of those customers who expects someone to work for free and if you get charged more than what you think you should get charged then you've automatically been "conned". I mean you obviously know quite a bit about plumbing since you know to look for a plumber's license number under the contractor's board. And then theres B) Funny how everyone is being conned when it comes time to pay. We've already established you know lots about plumbing so you must know how much it should cost as well. I bet you are the type of person who eats all their food when they dine out but finds something conveniently wrong with one of the meals when the ticket comes so you get it free or get a discount/gift card/coupon for the next time you grace your cheap presence at that establishment. Seems odd that you would wait so long to let the world know what a terrible person the owner is. The simple fact that you state you "got conned" doesn't seem to be very sufficient evidence nor does it detail how you were "conned". Paying for services isn't getting conned Marcus. It's called paying for services rendered. If you don't want to do that, then go to Home Depot or Lowe's and DIY next time. Or better yet! Call the contractor's board and tell them you know a plumber that doesn't have his contractor's license ????. I am sure they will be more than happy to explain he doesn't need one. I'm sure they will be just as curious as to why you think a plumber needs a contractor's license as I am. I called him out tonight, on a Saturday night, because my sewer was backing up into my whole house. The owner came out with a helper and worked until 1am to get my sewer flowing again. They were here for 5 hours and it was still cheaper than some of the other companies regular rates.

Stay away from this guy. He's a con artist. Will misdiagnose your problems to make extra money. Will fast talk you and lie to your face. Says he's a Licensed Master Plumber and that his license number is on his webpage. 1) Wheres the webpage with the number? 2) Wheres his name listed on the plumbing contractors page? Do a search on louisiana plumbing board - he is NOT licensed. This guy is a fly by night plumber and needs to be fined and put in jail. I got conned by him a few years ago, so decided to leave a review. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY! Note: I just looked the owner up on facebook - it turns out he's been in a relationship with the lady leaving 5 star reviews!!!

I had B-J's Plumbing come to do a small job for me today! I went to his page on Google and left a bad review. I tried to go back and he had removed my review and I couldn't leave another one. We were charged an extreme amount for the guy to go on roof and run a snake down the pipe. I do realize that he charged extra for weekend rate and extra for travel but seriously, his fee was astronomical! This is being added due to his response to my review: I was never given the option of putting in a clean out to save anyone ever having to go on roof for this plumbing problem again at any price! IF HE LIED ABOUT THIS, WHAT ELSE DID HE LIE ABOUT! I was not going to tell his fee but since he mentioned it, I will tell you, he charged $425 .00 for a man to go on my roof and run a snake down a pipe! My response to his second response: Oh my, more lies! Yes, Jonathan did go look at my washer but NO, the clog was in my kitchen sink. We told Jonathan that the only backup was in the kitchen! Everything else was flowing properly! I asked you when I called what I might expect as a fee and you said that you didn't know until you saw the problem. You never mentioned a $250.00 flat fee as Jonathan informed us after fixing the problem. Jonathan did call about the time we expected him, per you, to let me know that there would be an additional fee for weekend and travel. Saying this to let you know that instead of being 30 minutes to show up, it was about one and one half hours. My husband nor myself was ever told about a clean out either. I am tired of dealing with your lies. You got your $425.00 and my sink now is not clogged. As for me letting you know before I paid that I was displeased, WHAT?!?! You know that your fee was entirely too high! Charge what you should for service and don't tell lies and you will have repeat customers. As for me, I'm done!!!!!

Wow, just read the response to Marilyn Barry's review. All lies! Contractors insurance does not require you to add anything per job. There is a set amount paid per month and that's it. This guy is talking about charging extra for having to do what a plumber is supposed to do. If you don't want to climb on a roof with a sewage machine, work odd hours and drive to every job..... then go get another job. If your insurance company charges you that (which I doubt) then you need to get another insurance company. I have not had you work on anything of mine, but I have 2 friends you have ripped off and refused to provide your plumbing lisence number to one of them when asked. Then I see you pulled the same on another person. What is your plumbers lisence number anyway? I can't seem to find it on any of your sights.
