I’m not sure of how they do as far as installs, but I know when subcontracted by them to drill for geothermal systems, they don’t pay their bills in a timely matter. In fact, they wouldn’t pay at all if I didn’t threaten to file liens on the homeowners house. Even at that, it’s like pulling teeth to get money. I think this is terrible as they have collected our money already and just refusing to hand it over. We’ve drilled two jobs for them and payment for the first job was finally achieved with the help of the homeowner throwing a fit with Justin and the last job was shorted $208. I am still trying to get payment on this job. I would still highly recommend to you, as a homeowner if using this company, to verify your payments to this company have been properly sent to any subcontractors working for them. I say this because if they take your money and don’t pay their subcontractors, then that subcontractor can file a lien on your home and can make you pay again. This is a shame to do an innocent “paying” homeowner this way, but that is how the business world works. As a business owner, nothing makes me feel more guilty than having to force a homeowner to pay a second time when the HVAC company has already been paid but then doesn’t forward payment to the subcontractor. Update: After review was left, I did get a call and payment for the last job. They stated they have changed management, so given the benefit of doubt, maybe they will do better in the future. As far as the invoice, my driller did make a mistake only because he was convinced by the hvac guy that the loops were included in the drilling cost. If Eastern Air Flow would have answered my calls and told me that up front, I would have explained the problem and made a corrected invoice. Shoot, I probably would have just let it go and not worried about it. But after the occasional response via text message or the one or two times I did get an answer, I was told the check would be put in the mail by end of the week. Never once was anything said about the invoice not being made out correctly or questioning why there was extra money due. Needless to say, the end of the week never happened apparently and I didn’t realize the mistake was made on the invoice. The funny thing is, when I had quoted the job, I explicitly explained the money for drilling was a minimum and the loops, casing (if required) and stone were an extra cost. He said he would have stone onsite for us and wanted us to provide loops. I even offered to drill the wells to 200’ each instead of the 150’ at no extra drilling cost ($48 difference for pipe was the only money difference) just to make sure the homeowner would have the best system possible. The hvac guy said they didn’t want to do the extra depth and give the owner the better system for the $48, to just stick with the basic quote. I doubt the owner was even asked about upgrading the loops for the $48. I was willing to eat the additional drill money ($400 value) just because I want my customers to have the best system possible. Again, if I was willing to eat the $400 for the extra drilling, then half of that for the loops was not a big deal. It should have never had to come to this review. But after being lied to so many times, it became the principle. I still encourage homeowners to be careful but again, with the new management, things may turn around and be much better in the future. I wish Eastern Air Flow and their customers both past, present and future the best.

Would give them no stars if I could. Paid them to install a new unit. They said it would be done in one week. The first time they came to the house the two technicians sat in their truck all day. Then they were scheduled to come back 6 more times that I had to take days off work for and they never showed or called and said they weren’t coming. A one week install turn into 3 and a half months. Then they didn’t run the drain correctly and didn’t put a cap on the gas unit vent so the fan quit working. I had to have another company come fix it. They we’re also paid to take away my old unit and the base it sat on, it is still sitting in my yard. They haven’t been back since April of 2018. It’s funny you say you don’t have records of any service at my address. I didn’t put my address on here. You also said the same thing on my review of you with the BBB but I supplied the information to them as well. I have called, emailed and texted my salesman multiple time and have gotten no responses so what is different now? Well let’s add to this saga. The owner Justin called me and setup a time to come look at the issues with my unit and finish the job his employees didn’t. He set a day and time then didn’t show or call. This keeps getting worse.

Eastern Airflow came to my house on 6/20/18 to see about installing two new units and fixing some other issues. My husband and I were very impressed with this company at first. They told us that this would a quick job. They said they would be back out the following week and installation would only take one day. So, on 6/28/18 my husband took off work to accommodate their schedule. They told us they would be there at 1:00. They arrive on time to get started. They were there several hours. They didn't get finished, but we understood and were happy with the work that was accomplished. We had no AC all summer, so we were happy to at least have the upstairs AC working. We understand that this is hard work and may take some time, so we were okay with it taking another day. They schedule to come back on 6/30/18. My husband takes some time off work to accommodate them once again, and they still don't get the job done and don't bring all the equipment they need. So, they told us they would be out again in a couple days. A couple days turned into about a week and they show back up on 7/5/18. My husband accommodates their schedule once again. This time they are several hours late and they still don't get finished and they don't bring all of the necessary equipment again. Finally, on 7/12/17 they come out for what we are told will be the final time and everything will be finished after we let the boss know that we are not happy with this taking almost a month to complete and my husband taking off work several times to accommodate their schedule. However, they forgot one thermostat and also another part that goes in the units. On 7/13/18, two new guys who hadn't been to our home before came and were 1.5 hours late. I met them at my garage and they got out of their van and asked me what I need them to do....... They didn't bring anything to finish the job. Obviously, there is bad miscommunication going on between the boss and employees. We notified the boss through messages and calls, and did not receive a response from him. Their office secretary finally answered our call and said they would be at our house on 7/17/18 at 9 am, so my husband took off work that morning. They never showed up so my husband called around 10 am and they said they would not be able to come out until the following day.. I would not recommend this company to anyone. It has been awful working with them.
