Friendly, polite, and came out to do the job quickly. Sadly, they were not able to fix my problem (and were simply too busy to do a revisit, during likely a VERY busy time for them, so I had to go with someone else, who ended up replacing the unit), but they did try to help and were courteous. More Details: They cleaned the outdoor until and replaced a contact that was buzzing, but missed the fact that the fan motor was burned out and compressor was dying. (But they only charged me $84.12, so their prices were quite reasonable.) The unit needed to be replaced, so their fix, sadly, did little to help and, by the afternoon after they'd done the work, the temperature in my house had continued to rise past safe levels. (I awoke from my afternoon nap sick from the heat, which, in my poor health, I can't tolerate.) I called them, but they weren't able to return my call for a half hour, by which time, desperate to alleviate the pain I was in, I had already called another company, and their repairman had already arrived and was working on the unit. This other repairman explained that the fan motor was completely burned out and likely had been for a while by the looks of it. He sent someone out the next day to get a new one and installed it the following afternoon (for $600), but it did little to solve the problem (though it kept the temperature at the higher end of what I could tolerate, but low enough that I wasn't sick... as long as it ran almost 24-7). A couple days later, this other repairman came back to check on the air conditioner and told me it was shot and needed to be replaced (for $4,800). So, long story short, though Jacobs was not able to fix my problem, they did charge me less than $100 for a problem that ultimately cost me almost $5,500 to fix, and they were courteous and came out to try to help, despite being incredibly busy, within a couple of hours.

Very meticulous work - fixed a problem that the other local HVAC companys weren't able to figure out.
