Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

If I could give no stars I would. I had an emergency with a very flooded basement after a storm. When they called they wanted to make sure I knew since I was outside of Topeka, 15 minutes, it would be $65 travel charge. I had to agree to this charge before he would come out. I agreed he got to my home and then said it was too far for his hose to drain my basement, my basement stairs are just inside my front door. Then said he was going to have to cut into my line to hook up his pump. When asked which line he indicated the PVC along the back wall. This is the radon abatement pipe and it is very concerning a certified plumber didn't recognize that is what it was. He then wanted to cut into my sump line and or damage one of my egress windows in my basement. I refused his service but still paid the $65 travel fee for nothing being done about my foot deep of water in my basement. I would never ever recommend this particular Roto Rooter to anyone!!! Which is a shame because before moving to this area I had used other Roto-Rooter shops and always had a good experience.

Cut out copper pipe and replaced with used PVC pipe. Ruined aesthetics of my remodeled bathroom. Had to have return within 30 mins of leaving because of water leaking. Clogged drain affected washer. Terrible management. Very condescending.

Amazing service. Will never call anyone else. Jim came out to find out where the sound of running water was coming from. He found it easily, resolved it easily, then checked for damage. He then went out of his way to look at an old toilet that we've had trouble with. He was kind, helpful and efficient.

Was able to come out immediately in the night during an emergency. Discovered the new house I bought leaks in the basement during heavy rains. Tim came out and made some suggestions and unclogged the drain in the basement that was stuck full of mud and roots. Also was fairly cheap compared to some of these other shams.

I was very pleased with the service provided! Kevin was very knowledgeable and explained what was causing the backup in the drain. He went made sure that he did a complete job. When asked about ways to keep the problem from happening again he explained why what I had done was not as effective and then provided recommendations to keep it from happening again. I appreciated how professional and kind Kevin was. I would recommend this company for any plumbing issues you might have.
