I had some water lines that needed to be replaced so I called them. The next day they called my wife at 11:45 am and asked details about the job so they could gather the right materials. They showed up, completed the job and left at 1pm. I got the bill and was charged for 2.25 hrs. I called and asked when they started charging and I was told, as soon as they leave the shop till they get back. I can see 1.5 hrs, but not 2.25. after a day of waiting for a better explanation, I was finally told the plumber and his assistant spent the better part of an hour getting prepared. And that's why it was 2.25 hrs. So why the phone call 15 minutes prior to showing up? I was finally told they would take $30 off for the assistant getting ready. I figure they ended up making an extra $70 or more. This is not the way to run a business.
