AMAZING! We are blown away with the fast service, respect, honesty and integrity that was overflowing from this company from the beginning to the end of our plumbing nightmare! Derek was very professional, reasonable, and an absolute pleasure to work with!! Do yourself a favor and call these guys! They are VERY experienced, ethical and reasonably priced! Derek and his team go above and beyond! We will definitely be calling and referring Jim Russell time and time again!

To be fair I have to say the work that was done was fine. The problem with this company is you can't get an itemized invoice and customer service is lacking. You're told, "Sorry I can't do that." My question is, "Why?" Our bill ended up being $578 for 2 1/2 hours of work. When pushed we were told that it was an $80 service call, $100 an hour, and $135 in materials. In one email from Jim Russell's employee, it stated the bill covered service call, labor, materials, taxes, and etc.... I then inquired what the "and etc." was, and this is what I got: "The "and etc" includes things like overhead, travel time, gas, liability insurance, and profit." Don't those things fall into the service charge and hourly rate? Then to refuse to give us an itemized invoice seems like poor business practice. I've never heard of such a thing! Buyer beware! We feel that we over paid by at least $100 for a simple washer connect/disconnect fix. It was a Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon, so it's not like we called after hours either. Check went into the mail today after trying to get this accomplished since the beginning of February. No choice. We were moving and in a pinch. Maybe that's why we were pinched.

I had never used Jim Russell Plumbing until recently I had a sewage problem going on in the basement. I felt bad for bothering one of the employees at home on a weekend but I wanted some questions answered before I committed. She reached out to one of their guys and got back with me right away to answer my questions and they worked me into the schedule for Monday. Got home from work and thank goodness they had been there and taken care of my problem!! The office followed up with me to make sure everything was working and that I was satisfied. Reasonable rates as well!! I feel very confident I will use them as future needs arise.
