TOM SMITH PLUMBING

Great company. I'm not sure about others negative experiences, but our was great. I called and it was only one out of 8 other companies we called that they answered the phone. We had two issues with a new home we bought, the tank less water heater wasn't working and our sump pumped died the same day. They were up front with me and said we don't work on the unit you have, but if you are willing to pay the service my tech can come and see what he can do. I figured that was fair enough. He came out and had it up an running in less than 5 minutes. Since we paid for the hour he cleaned up the unit and made sure everything was in good shape. For that reason we asked about the sump pump. He looked at it can gave us a quote. We thought it was a bit high so we called around. Those we could get hold of said that the price we got was in the same ball park that they would quote. One of their competitors said the same thing and even said that Tom Smith Plumbing is a good and fair company. Today they came out at the time they said they would be there. The tech had the job done quicker than he quoted and even charged less because of the time he spent. He walked me through what he said, and what to keep an eye on to make sure the back up pump is always in good working order. The job was clean, neat and perfect. When done, where the sump pump is, looks better than what was there. Very very pleased with their service and the Tech who came out. Very polite, and hard working. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

Installed a custom modular shower in my mom's house. She is a senior and has special needs. The estimate was spot on, the timeline was spot on, and they communicated with me when they ran into unexpected problems. Great company to do business with!!! I will use them for all of our plumbing needs and would highly recommend them!

Had a leaking toilet that we discovered on a Friday morning about 10 AM. I called Tom Smith and they said they would do their best to get me in but might not be able to get there that day. They had a cancellation and had someone there to fix the issue within the hour. It turned out to be a sewer line issue. They were able to fix it that day with no hassle. They did a 5 star job on a moments notice.

Used to be a great company, not so much anymore. Issue with my water heater, was repaired, 2 months later the EXACT same issue happened again. 2nd time costs more to fix then the 1st time (same service performed)....was told they only guarantee their work for 30 days....if I wanted no guarantee on the work or that the product would be sufficient, I would do it myself....going somewhere else next time.
