Center Line Plumbing

Charlie of Center Line Plumbing has been to my building in Chicago numerous times for an assortment of emergencies and about-to-be emergencies; I've never found him anything but knowledgeable, competent, fair and straightforward. He communicates well, and honors his commitments. I wish I didn't have to...but I know I will call on him again (and again.)

Charlie - Center Line Plumbing was referred to me by a good friend. So I called him and arranged for him to come out and work on unclogging our washtub drains in the basement. Charlie was running a little late but kept sending texts to keep me updated on his arrival. When Charlie arrived he scoped out the situation and explained the steps necessary to rod the cast iron pipes which were clogged with grease and rust and junk. He kept changing cutting heads on the cable and working it through the pipe to the catch basin. His knowledge and experience impressed me he has 22 years experience as a plumber, and has knowledge dealing with pipes in older homes even older than mine. His customer service was exceptional, he even noticed some ice on the outside spicket and had me turn the water on so he could run water and make sure it wasn't frozen. He noticed that pulling into the driveway , wanted check and make sure everything was okay . He even checked the catch basin twice while rodding the make sure the cable was going through as expected. He got the drain pipes cleared and the drains working. But he suggested some changes since the pipes are older I asked him to work up a estimate and email it to me. But we will most likely have him do it so we do not have issues going forward.
