Herr Plumbing

Extended a gas line for my gas dryer in the laundry room. Did an excellent job, quickly, and for a reasonable price. Will use them again when needed next.

Installed water heater in under two hours, called five other plumbers and they all said it would be at least a week, aparently this was too big a job for most, this young man did the whole job alone, so impressed, my old plumber retired, I will be using this co. from now on.

Herr has been working on our Urbandale remodel/update for 4 straight days. The team shows up at 7am and leaves after 5pm, working until the job is done. There have been some challenges and problems with our pipes, but they are doing everything they can to us money and assure no problems in the future. They are polite, organized, respectful and highly professional. Recommended!!!

We bought a water softener from Lowes and had "them" install it...Herr Plumbing showed up with the water softener and stated that "they" (Herr Plumbing) were a sub-contractor for them....nice person, softener in, cleaned up and gone (BTW, they discovered old softener/loop wasn't hooked up as well as should have been for optimum usage, fixed that w/o additional charges) THEN, the softer went through its 1st cycle that night AND NEVER TURNED OFF!!! I called Herr the next day and the owner came out within an hour...sd. he'd never seen anything like that before but said he would get it replaced and talk with Lowes and not to worry...and a new replacement came and was installed within a couple days. EXCELLENT! Needless to say, I have used them since......so when we discovered that our kitchen sink drain pipe that exited out of our basement wall (50's house formerly on septic) had broken somewhere and was now draining behind our foundation wall and seeping in the basement (who knows how long it had been going on...we smelled it for sometime but didn't know where it could possibly be coming form)....yes panic , but Herr came over and came up with a BRILLIANT solution that SAVED US $1000's of dollars!?! Could have done it another way and dug up the yard, but thought it through...and (again) SAVED US SERIOUS $$! .....You know, if you find somebody reliable and fair, no matter what business, you stick with them and are relieved to know they have your back as they truly CARE about their customers...so Herr is the ONLY plumber I would call, refer, or consider....Thx Herr! PS. Peggy the scheduler is the BEST, talks you through and gets them over!

I have used Herr for running gas for a fire place and stove, as well as repairs for old leaky pipes. Great work every time!
