First Quality Environmental

I wanted to update my prior review. Just this last month I had plumbing issues that were a result of the septic system that was installed. I contacted First Quality Environmental and they first apologized, then they said they would be right out to look at what was happening. Their foreman John came out and found out what the problem was. He also was very apologetic and made the repair at no cost to me. I am very happy with their service and will recommend them to others. Thank you First Quality Environmental for standing behind your work.

First quality did a septic tank installation for me. I gave the owner a deposit to start the job. I was told that the job would start right away. The next week no one from the company had contacted me so I called the owner. He said the other job they were working on was delayed. They would start the next week. The next week it rained as a result, understandably it was postpone again. This meant a two week delay. When the project finally started during the digging a sprinkler line was broken. I was called and asked if I wanted them to repair it? I asked for a quote and was quoted a price of $245. When to job was completed I asked if the every thing was good. I was told it was. I decided to check the sprinkler system and found out that there were multiple leaks, two of which were the repairs that they had done. I was very concerned. When I got the final bill there was the first repair quote that I had agreed to and an additional charge, higher than the first repair. When I asked about the additional charge I was told that it was for additional repairs. I was not quoted or told of any additional charges. When I checked the sprinklers again I found that it was still not repaired correctly, the third repair. Finally the sprinklers were repaired, four weeks after the stated completion time. When I received to final bill there was an additional charge again, with no prior quote or notification. Total charges for repairs that were caused by this company was $961 when I was quoted $245. I recommend when dealing with this company to make sure everything is crystal clear because there may be charges that were not quoted prior to your final bill.

In response to the negative review. We go out of our way to please our clients on every job. This particular job was the only one where a client was not completely satisfied. Our Contract with the owner did specifically state the following:" Exclusions: Re-grassing, Landscaping, Irrigation and Sprinklers" . The sprinkler repairs were estimated and not a formal quote. The actual repairs performed were much higher than the actual cost charged to the owner and they were not included in the original $28,915 Septic System Installation that was installed.
