Not upfront about their travel fees. I understand the need for a travel fee, but please make a customer aware of how much it will cost just to have crew come. I would have respected their honesty and found someone cheaper instead of paying 160 dollars in travel fees. Also claimed my home was a three hour trip but I know as someone who visits cartersville regularly I’m not that far. Google maps says it’s only forty minutes from their office...over five hundred dollars for an hour or work and to just have my pipes bust again a few days later? I’ve been cheated by folks before but these guys are the experts. Called the owner and complained he said they never mentioned travel fees up front it was part of their business. He said he’d call me back after reviewing my bill. I see where they have generally strirling reviews and this level of dishonesty and unprofessionalism is appalling.
We have used Gilstrap Plumbing several times at our office and have always had had prompt service and reasonable prices. Good guys we will continue to use.
