I wouldn't trust Michael Angelo Plumbing to mow my lawn. I contracted with them in December for bathroom work to be scheduled in late March. One week prior to the start date, I was informed they didn't have the permit. This despite several emails over a two and a half month period saying the agreed-upon start date was still valid. Was this a lie? Future customers can decide for themselves. The excuse given was that the county said the permit application had not been received. Really? At what point after the several emails regarding the start date would one think to call the county regarding the permit? Poor business practice! Lastly they back out of the agreement. Either they're ditching me in favor of a more lucrative job, or they are punishing me for holding their feet to the fire. Customers: is this who you would want working for you? Is this who you would trust to return the day after they gutted your bathroom and jackhammered the floor slab? Not me! Never!
We had an urgent issue that had cut off the water to our kitchen and bathrooms. I called Michael Angelo because they were in the neighborhood. The telephone receptionist was very professional and helpful and she had a great personality for the phone. She coordinated their technicians to come by the SAME DAY to see what they could do. She also quoted me their charges up front, which I really appreciated. Fortunately for us, but not so for them, my husband and neighbor were able to fix the problem easily enough. Because Michael Angelo was so friendly and prompt for an urgent request, we will remember them if we ever need a plumber again. I am pleased to be the first to review this company.
