Asked about installing mini blinds in 5 avg windows and while professional on the phone call was told by reception/front desk that they do not do measuring. They can install what I purchase. (I thought measuring was part of an install and obviously not affordable to do small projects...hmmm how do you do handle windows or counters?) They have a labor 2 hr min $279 and then $105 per 15 min increments. I told her labor price was extremely high (drilling a couple holes is what I saw in Lowes video). I know Angies list and Tumbtack handymen and professionals are SO MUCH CHEAPER. Can't win a big job I feel I have if a small one cannot be handled...I have no equipment and am unable to do myself hence my need for help. The guys are background checked and drug screened...but over $100+ /hr is unheard of for a handyman not traveling but 15 minutes.
Asked them to come out and give a quote but they don't do that. She explained cost and seems pretty reasonable. Wish they did quotes
Jesus Santana was here and put in a new faucet and new baseboard and did a few other things for me he was very respectful and fast I know if I need them to recheck things they will be here in a flash. I was pleased with the work.
Mr. Handyman's front office staff and every service technician I have used are very professional and competent. Sometimes I have a single issue that needs to be addressed, sometimes I have several issues that need to be addressed during one visit. Everyone at Mr. Handyman is courteous and friendly and competent. Thank you for taking care of me and the repair issues in my home. I will continue to use Mr. Handyman in the future.
My experience with Mr. Handyman was excellent. The scheduler was helpful and pleasant. The technician was knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and conscientious. He worked quickly and was observant, even calling my attention to a wet spot he noticed on the floor of a closet. Without hesitating, he quickly checked out it's possible source & then informed me what to watch for and what to do next if it didn't dry up. it was easy and pleasant doing business with Mr. Handyman.
