Totally unethical, borderline hostile employees. Last Summer, Kohler dispatched a representative from this company to diagnose problems with our DTV shower module that was less than six months old and still under warranty. The guy -- who seemed like he was on a prison work release program -- spent less than 10 minutes staring at the module like it was a quantum physics equation. We escorted him out with no intention of using him, and he later sent us a quote for over $2k to fix a product that was STILL under warranty. We called Kohler to complain, and they then dispatched Crown Plumbing who diagnosed and fixed the issue with no problems (under warranty). For the 11 months since, they call us constantly to pay their trip charge even though we have tried OVER AND OVER again to explain this was a warranty visit. Now they are threatening to send us to collections. I called Kohler and they apologized, and confirmed that this was under warranty. I suggested they remove this company from their "certified" dealers list and would caution anyone against getting involved with them.
We had a toilet problem unexpectedly on Monday morning, and we decided to give HG Plumbing a try. I ended up speaking with Joe, the owner, and we really appreciated how he went above and beyond for us. His team was slammed all day Monday for calls that were scheduled or that already came in before us, so Joe personally made time to come to my house after 5 pm to fix our toilet. While this is not something we would ever expect an owner to do, my wife and I really appreciated Joe going above and beyond for us to make sure our issue was resolved on the same day we called. Great price, and first class service!
It's ok , it's all ok . What goes around , comes around . I never used this company before , but when these 2 guys came out and told me they didn't have the faucet replacement parts for a tub fixture , i was blown away . If i were a plumber , i would carry a couple of each item , and different makes , that Home Depot carries . I mean really , you have a van , build a shelving unit with drawers , or get a few plastic bins . I think i would be more prepared to let my customers see what kind of handles and hardware i had to offer . One thing i make sure of , it better be in plastic , new , unopened . I just don't understand , this company is well known , it's been around a long time . I first found out about them in 1980 - 1982 , when i found some of their zippered bank pouches near my home , when i lived on Aileen & Armenia . Those pouches contained a little money , and mostly checks . My only complaint is that they were not properly prepared for a job .
We are renovating our home and chose Henry Gonzalez Plumbing for our kitchen project. Yesterday, our gas line was installed flawlessly and at a responsible, competitive cost. The installers were extremely knowledgeable. They unpacked our new range to find the owners manual. With it, they located the appropriate placement for the gas gauge wall-install. They also installed my half-bath toilet. Service was prompt and professional. We will definitely use them for our range, dishwasher and ice maker installations.
The most frightful experience I "almost" had. Imagine being in my shoes. A pediatric dentist with only 1 week before school starts, a schedule bursting with patients and parents that want to get their children in before school begins, and then a water pipe bursts in your office one hour before your day begins. Thank goodness for Henry Gonzalez Plumbing. I called the office (even before they were open) and the owner Joe Gonzalez called me back right away. He drove right over to our office to exam the broken pipe. He then called one of his plumbers named Mike (who was on his way to their office), to tell him what was going on and to stop by the office to get materials to fix the problem. All of this happened at 7:10am, we saw our first patient at 8:00am without any delays and worked a full day making some beautiful smiles. I can't say how much I appreciate what they did. They earned my business and 5-star rating for sure!
