Ed, from Honey Home Services was highly recommended to me by a local electric company. He worked me in to his busy schedule, came out the following morning, diagnosed & repaired a faulty elec outlet for my dryer. On a Sunday night, I noticed a buzzing sound and burning smell coming from my breaker box. After turning everything off, I called an emergency electric service who sent a technician out. He took a look, told me the entire panel needed to be replaced and new lines needed to be run to the outside breaker box, and quoted me between $3500 to $5500. In the morning, I called Honey Home Services and spoke with Ed Lammers. He immediately said that the solution I was offered by the emergency tech seemed excessive, and came out to take a look for himself. Within a few minutes, he diagnosed the problem. He explained clearly and in detail the cause (old breakers causing arcing and scorching the bus bars) and solution (replace old breakers and restore the scorched bus bars). He had me up and running again in a few hours with no recurrence of the original problem. When all was said and done, I paid less than a tenth of my original quote. Mr. Lammers will be my go-to person for any electrical service needs I may have in the future. He is honest, straightforward, and incredibly knowledgeable about his trade. Honey Home Services is the best. I had a major electrical issue at my main box that was fixed a few years back and has been great since. Another time I had a plumbing issue with a hose bib and it was replaced quickly at a great price. Most recently had my AC tune-up and cleaning which was also very affordable. If you want someone who has real knowledge and cares about your home, call Honey Home and you won't be disappointed.

Started out good with Ed, however, second time service was not a charm! I first requested a new toilet to be installed, Ed advised he could refurbish the old and make it like new. Well, after 1 month the handle started to come loose and now months later.... the toilet is leaking costing me more money! I had text him about this in December and again in February and Ed seems to be off the grid, as I have not heard back from him!

I found Ed in a local service review magazine and he was highly rated. I had an issue with my home electrical serevice and called his company. Within no time at all he called back and I explained the issue. Although he could have charged me to come out to my house, he suggested that I first call the power company to check the outside service. It turned out there was an outside issue and the power company is fixing it but I am so highly impressed with Ed that I will definitely call him next time I have any issues (and am glad to pay for it)!
