Over-priced and disrespectful of customers! Staff plumber showed up at the house smoking a cigarette, making it difficult for me to breathe. When I asked him to put it out, he left in a huff and refused to do the job. When I asked owner, John Oliver, to rectify the situation, he stood up for the employee and called me unflattering names. This is not a very professional outfit. Edit/Translation of Oliver's response below: "[E]rratic verbal attack" and "unstable behavior" is Oliver-speak for requesting to stop polluting my property with toxic cigarette smoke. "[G]ave chase and followed him back to our Office" is Oliver-speak for visited office 5 minutes later to address employee behavior with owner. "[M]ade another scene" is Oliver-speak for attempting to address issue. "[T]hreatened with Law Enforcement" is a true statement that I should have mentioned in the original review. Yes, Oliver Plumbing not only breached the contract, but also made or threatened to make a false police report. Do you really want them in your house?

Oliver's replaced a section of main water inlet pressure pipe due to leak. Appears did not flush pipes when finished. Mud flowed from all faucets when later opened and clogged faucet screens instantly. New water heater filled with contaminated water. I spent 2 hours flushing and cleaning the mess. Asked to have two tub faucet valves replaced. Later discovered water leak behind wall at new joint. Discovered not all factory parts installed. Discovered pipe knock. Pipe knocking diagnosed as needing an additional installation costing about $400 (I secured both valves to studs with 4 screws thus eliminating the knock). I installed the missing manufacturer parts myself after prohibiting return of plumber. About 5 different plumbers involved. Seems a company-wide problem. Owner accused me of being difficult to please. This is a follow-up note regarding the replacement of a section of a water main pipe due to leak: the fix began leaking shortly after Oliver's Plumbing left the job site.
