A toilet was running at a tenant's apartment so I called Southern Plumbing, a mistake I won't ever repeat. The plumber showed up spend an estimated 20 minutes, called me and said the toilet was shot. He ordered a new one. He came back with that a week or so later and installed it. I got a bill for over $500. Then, I got another bill for $105 for the first service call. So, I assumed this was a mistake and called them. The woman on the phone was nice about it and said she'd have the service manager get back to me. He called yesterday and basically said that's their minimum charge and he would not be adjusting it. $105 for 20 minutes? That's $315 an hour! Bottom line, I got hosed by Southern Plumbing. Don't make my mistake. There are plenty of reasonable plumbers in Vero Beach. Southern Plumbing just isn't one of them.

My close friend was at her grandfathers waiting the plumber to arrive in the 12p-2p window they stated, and it wasn’t until 3:30/4p that they finally arrived. During the time they were working they were cussing and throwing things around making her very uncomfortable in her family home.

I had an issue with a water heater expansion tank. They didn't have one in stock but Nicole helped me get one from the supplier through Southern Plumbing. She was extremely nice and helpful. We have not used the plumbing repair services.

Jared the owner did refund us the $300 for their visit without much of a fight. However, they cut corners when here. While attempting to use the camera they could not see and said it needed to get snaked, but didn't offer to do it. We ending up having a blow out when the toilet flushed because of a new wax ring being placed with the old brittle blackened one. They left a leaking valve for the toilet water valve. Was also told it would be $3,500. to do septic line repairs. All repairs and corrections by the replacement company was done for $450. If you want a company you can trust for a vacation property when you are not able to be here, keep looking.
