Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

John and Eddy did an amazing job of diagnosing my plumbing problem and fixing it quickly. They went the extra mile in explaining everything to me at each point in the process and even called in a camera consultant to ensure nothing was missed. Louis did a great job with the camera and allowed me to observe as he checked my plumbing system's pipes for breaks. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and their professionalism. I highly recommend John and his team!

Everything started off well when I contracted RR at 9:30p to come fix a shower faucet that wouldn’t turn off at our rental property. I was given an arrival time of 11:00p. I got a call at 11:30 that the tech got a flat tire. I got another call at 12:30a that the tech didn’t have the parts to fix the issue. I thought the way it was being phrased was odd and questioned them. As suspected, the tech never came and was just stating that they never really carry parts at night and it would be better to come the next day. This was after we waited 3 hours and told them the issue during the initial call. As we wanted to know the exact issue, I demanded that they go to the property and find the issue out. They said the tech would go and be there in 30 minutes. 40 minutes go by and a tech calls to say that he’s 45 minutes out and that he doesn’t have the part and it’s not worth going. Again, I told them that we needed to know the issue and get the water to stop. Reluctantly, he goes. An hour later, I get a call and the tech advised me of the issue. The cartridge needs to be replaced and he has the part on the truck. Great news. However, he then tells me the part is $125 and the labor is a flat rate of $300, despite only needing less than an hour for the work. $300, for less than an hour of work. Let that sink in. What a scam. And I get this news at 2am, 5 hours after my initial call and no time to contact any other company. Also note that the tech said that this was their standard flat rate for the job, yet the company later would not give me the prices over the phone because “all prices are different and the tech makes the price determination at the job site.” I will never use this company again for my rental properties or my own home. What a joke.

The job turned out to be much more difficult than originally expected. This required more time and more technicians to complete the work than was expected. The whole team diligently worked to assure my satisfaction. I don't know that I would have received this level of service from another company.

Roto-rooters did an awesome job. They were able to come out and figure out a major clog that we were having. John was great he went above and beyond and answered all of our questions and gave us a lot of suggestions. He was very easy to talk to and got the work done much faster than what I was expecting.
