Firstly, My wife and I have never call a plumber or a plumber service prior to three days ago. The first company I called (whom I will not name) arrived at my home and advised me that they could not determine the problem (which in my estimation was blow back of water emanating from the toilet bowl(s) and eventually shooting up from the shower and tub of our bathrooms ) The employee advised he had no clue and recommended the use a telescopic camera to locate the problem. I asked the price of the cameras use and was told $395. That $395 was just for the employee to use the telescopic camera to find the source of blockage, this price did not include fixing the problem. Needless to say I passed on this company. I asked my painter, Ken, of A Magic Touch Painting if he could recommend a plumber. Ken recommended Christian Plumbing & Tile Inc. and provided the phone number. I called Christian Plumbing & Tile Inc. and spoke to the owner, Doug. After explaining the issue in my lack of plumber terminology, Doug advised he was finishing up on a call for service and would stop by as soon as he could. About an hour later Doug called and advised he was on his way. Upon arriving my home Doug and his employee, Ron, listened as I explained the issue at hand. Doug advised it souped like blockage in the pipes and recommended using a "snake" to check the lines. After using the "snake" they locate the source of the problem- ROOTS. The roots had grown over a period of time and caused serious problems within our home. Doug and Ron not only repaired the damage but installed a new toilet I had purchased the day before (11/19/17). Not only did they fix the problem, but they explained each step as I watched them throughout the process. Based on Doug's knowledge, professionalism and expertise, my wife and I have saved his phone number as he was be our "go-to" plumber in the future. On a side note, this was a stressful time for me as my wife and we both proudly serve in the Armed Forces and I am set to deploy soon. Christian Plumbing & Tile came without hesitation, provided a solution and fixed the problem. Thanks again Doug.

What a delight to do business with a company that is both knowledgeable and efficient. Christian Plumbing responded within a day of my call. Was on time (I can't tell you how many times I have waited for a service person to come and they didn't either show or were two hours late for the appointed time). They replaced my commode and actually cleaned up after themselves. A Company that I would highly recommend and have added to my list of who to call for necessary repair companies.

This is in response to Mr.Timothy Pratt's review. He initially called me on a Sunday morning inquiring if I could come out to "look" at his plumbing problem. I explained that I could neither give a phone estimate, nor on site estimate as I would be unable to determine how much pipe needed to be replaced with old galvanized pipe without jack hammering up the slab to determine if only one foot needed replacing or 20 feet plus needed replacing. I always advise as to double-time cost on Sunday and asked if he could wait until the following day. He responded that he would call around and see if someone else could take care of this and our phone call ended amicably. About an hour later he called me again and again asked if I could just come out and "just look at it." I again explained I could not determine anything without jack hammering up the slab. He kept insisting that I come out to "just look at it". This second call did not end up in an amicable manner as I felt I had repeatedly explained that I simply could not look and determine cost without jack hammering, etc. I have been in business over 30 years and have seen many projects like this become extremely involved and need special fittings and parts that are not available at such places as Lowes or a hardware store and specialty plumbing stores are not open on Sunday. Extremely rude! I called on a Sunday after a water valve leading into my home broke and started leaking and I had to shut the water off to the whole house. The "gentleman" who answered immediately told me that it was Sunday (yeah, I know that), and kept telling me that whatever I needed was going to cost double (as I expected). After reiterating that whatever I needed was going to cost me and asking me "how bad do I need it", I explained to him what I needed done and asked him for a rough quote or ballpark on what it would cost to get it done that day versus waiting until Monday. His reply was "You want a quote?! You want a quote on a Sunday?!". His incensed reply was the last thing I heard from him before he simply hung up on me. That was about the most unprofessional exchange I've ever had over the phone. My tip to Christian Plumbing is this, if you start off a phone call with a customer by telling them that whatever they want is going to cost them (which is understandable), don't be surprised if they at least want a general idea on what the cost might normally be so they can make a cost/benefit decision about having it done that day or waiting one more. Certainly don't treat them like they just stomped on a kitten and then hang up on them.
