In our town's group FB page, there were a few A/C recommendations. One had an office right across the street, but they never answered the phone and no one was in their office. I then called Apex who was recommended as well, and in a couple hours a technician was here. He was very professional and outlined all my options. I knew I likely had to get an entire new unit. Although I thought the price was way too much, I did some research and called a few other companies who provided estimates over the phone, and Apex ended up being $1,000+ cheaper for the same job. Only two days later on a Saturday, he was back with an assistant and the two of them were awesome. They took their time and made sure everything was done perfectly. It's a tough task to work a ton of hours in Florida trying to make A/C work, and usually they are in the sun and in a house that obviously doesn't have A/C. But they were fantastic. No chance I use another company in the future.
This review is for a young man named Steven. My appointment for an estimate was scheduled for 3:00 - 5:00. Steven showed up at 2:40. He was honest, VERY respectful, listened to ALL of my concerns and explained everything in layman's terms so that I could understand it. We haven't made our decision on which company to go with for the install. Or, even which unit to buy. If customer service is the only thing to base our purchase on...I'm going with Apex Air. Steven was very diligent and I felt he really knew all of the systems well. I recommend this company and especially Steven to anyone needing their A/C system serviced or replaced.
My AC unit went down after we experienced some lightning surges around our home and after calling several other companies including Del-Air's 24h emergency services, which REFUSED to help. I finally called Apex and they immediately sent a technician out. Mr. Boe arrived 15 mins before the scheduled time to get to know the problem and started to get to work right away. He was able to fix our system in less than an hour, which included a bypass to solve the issue. Definitely do business with them again.
Shortly after purchasing my new house 3 years ago the A/C stopped working. HOME Advisor recommended APEX A/C. They came out and recommended a new unit. I bought a YORK a/c system for 6,000.00 and they installed it. During installation they rebuilt the box inside the house incorrectly making it impossible to access and replace air filter. The owner whom was present for install promised a ceiling intake filter contraption that would work better. They never installed it at multiple monthly calls. Within one year the a/c stopped working. Every 2 to 3 months i was paying $80 service fees only to have it stop working. At the 2 year mark they stated the heating computer board broke and by passed it so the ac ran continuously. Promising to fix it for a $400.00 fee. After 6 months of $400 utility bills I had to turn it off and by window ac units. Contacted Home advisor tody whom promised resolution. They said the will get back to me. Do yourself a favor don't do business with APEX ac.
This is for Steven ros , This young man came to my house at 12 am after working all day since 6 am , though tired he was respectful and answered all question I had I didn’t know a lot but he took the time to make sure I understood the problem at hand and that I knew what the key signs of a/c problems. He stood there after it been done fixing to make sure it was running. I offered a tip be he declined he stated he was glad to help . This is the type of guy you promote. Well always come to him when need be . GREAT JOB APEX DAVENPORT !!!!!
