American Leak Detection

Prompt and polite service from the get-go, they did exactly what they said they were going to do. The service tech, Brett, was early and called in advance to confirm it was alright - he was professional, diligent and found the leak in a seemingly random place out in the yard, I would recommend this company! Thank you!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. They came out, didn't find a leak but made recommendations as to what it could be....possibly re-grouting shower and fixing wax ring on toilet. I made all repairs, STILL having leaks (from underneath tile floor, not on top). I called again and they BEGRUDGINGLY agreed to come out again, this time Phil (I believe the Owner) came. He was RUDE, BRUSQUE AND INSULTING. He completely ignored me when I told him I had tested and isolated the problem to where I thought it was because he was convinced it was coming from the shower. When he couldn't find a leak, he proceeded to shoot a jet stream of water at shower door for several minutes until water finally seeped through to floor. When I told him the leak was coming from underneath the floor because top of floor wasn't getting wet, he told me it probably did and I just didn't notice.(couldn't be further from the truth, I make it a point to inspect everything since I've been having issues for months). I also told him the door doesn't get that steady stream of water when showering and of course spraying a jet of water on it would make it leak! He was GRUFF, TERSE AND BLUNT with his findings (literally found nothing....) and did I mention EXTREMELY RUDE? I don't know how he stays in business. I have never been treated so discourteous by someone in my own home, THAT I PAID A BUNCH OF MONEY FOR NOTHING FOR!!! I would steer clear of using this company.

We made an appointment with them almost two months ago to find a leak in our pool. They have asked to reschedule last week but we have our own business and cannot have someone there but have cleared the day of our appointment. Called again today and told us they could be out today (the 3rd) when our appointment was the 9th. When we said that we wished to keep our original appointment, the lady said "oh geeze" and then said that if our pool was only losing an inch of water a day that they probably couldn't find the leak anyway. They sure didn't tell us this when we originally make the appointment and were going to take our money when they knew they couldn't find the leak.

Phil with American Leak Detection is one of the best! He's polite, informative, very professional, and takes his job seriously. I highly recommend this company to everyone! Their prices are hard to beat and they do a fantastic job. Definitely check them out!
