PROS: 1. It was quite easy to schedule my appointment on the phone. The representative was well informed and efficient. 2. I received a much appreciated call that there would be a delay on the day of service. When he arrived, the specialist that came to my home was quite courteous and professional. He communicated with me about my problem and his plan very well. I was satisfied with the service provided by Mr. Mendoza. CONS: 1. The soonest available appointment I was able to get was 3 days away from the time I called. I was hoping for a sooner appointment. Fortunately, the problem did not turn out to be as urgent as I initially thought it was. 2. Anytime you call for plumbing services you get anxious about cost. I was told initially there would be no cost for a leak inspection. When the plumber arrived he quoted a large number for the inspection ($545 is large from my perspective). I needed it done though, so I agreed. At the end of the visit he said he would discount the cost to $350, which I certainly appreciated, but price transparency would've help to allay my anxieties.
I was so grateful for the people on the phone. They were professional and also compassionate, as it looked we would be out of water for the rest of the long, hot night. They were quick to make our family first on the list. And that was then July 4. The workmen were there early, were friendly, and fixed the problem quickly. Thank you.
F Carmichael Awesome job!! Had a small back up. Roto-rooter came first ting in the morning. Assessed the problem. Educated me on what to do to prevent this issue from ever happening again. The price was reasonable. I would defiantly recommended them. Thanks again.
UPDATE: The Customer Service that I received from from Andrew Hunt, the General Manger of South Florida was absolutely impeccable. The conversation was customer focused on my exact situation with the goal of being complete satisfaction. My concerns were addressed 100% with a promise that in the future, specific situations in regards to city septic would be approached in a more evaluative manner. THANK YOU ROTO-ROOTER! I initially thought my phone call in was great. I described what was happening in my home and made sure to add the details that I am on the city septic AND a new first time home owner. The follow up letting me know when the team would arrive was also great. The two men that arrived were also GREAT. Within 5 minutes they were able to tell me that it was a pump problem and that the city would have to take care of it. The unfortunate part of my experience is that it was thoroughly explained to me how to determine if the issue would have been the responsibility of the city AFTER I was charged $129 for showing up. The city utilities operator explained to me that they should ALWAYS be called first and that this should have been explained to me from the start. That disappointed me because a simple one minute conversation could have saved me time and the $129.
All the technicians from this company were very knowledgeable. They took time to explain the jetting process to clean out my plumbing lines underground. Cleaned up the area when finished and now I I have no further issues. I would highly recommend Andrae 6536 and Elvis who worked as a team to my friends and neighbors.
