Pricing for repair very high - $400 negotiated to $350. Comment was we bill by the job, not the time. Quoted time at $150/hr in 1/2 hour increments. With those numbers, bill should have have been in the neighborhood of $250. Repair was for a 3/8" hole in galvanized steel drain pipe coming from kitchen sink and dishwasher. Total time on site - 70 minutes. Plumber removed, via reciprocating saw, 2ft pipe length emerging from basement ceiling going into 4" drain - little to no obstructions. Repair was 2 neoprene sleeves connecting PVC at 4" end and kitchen pipe start. Steve, the owner (I presume) very professional during the entire conversation. We agreed to disagree. IMO, for this type of repair, there should be a quote up front, and it should be time and materials. I cannot recommend Russo Brothers.
