One of the worst companies in Delaware. If you need help in any way, I do not recommend. Terrible customer service. Won’t call you back and lie insanely. DO NOT USE. Update: HVAC was installed wrong and leaking and needed another company to come out and fix the problem. Only reason why I used this company initially was because of a home warranty. Always check reviews before you agree to have a company come and install to your home, you don’t want to have to pay the consequences later.

I had such a negative experience with this company. I have been dealing with them for over a week and my kitchen sink is still leaking. Rich came out one week ago and “fixed” the leak under my sink. Once I returned home the same evening, the sink was still leaking. I placed a call letting them know the sink was still leaking and Rich assured me that he would be out that following Monday and I never heard anything from him until I call later that afternoon. He said he wouldn’t make it out that day and said he would come out Tuesday, first thing in the morning. Again, no call/no show. I placed a call that afternoon and he said he was on his way. He did end up showing up only to tell us that we needed a pipe replaced and he would be out Friday to replace it. Once again, no call/no show. I placed several calls throughout the day and Rich finally answered letting me know that he would be out an hour after my phone call to him. I placed that call at 2pm and never heard anything after that point until I called him and left a voicemail at 4:15 letting him know I was calling someone else to take care of the problem.

My warranty company made us use this plumbing contractor. He made us pay the service fee in cash. Told us he had to snake the drain and would be back the following day. We did not hear from him. We were then contacted by the warranty company stating that he told them something completely different needed to be done. What a con artist. We told the warranty company that they need to remove him as a contractor.

Coastal Mechanical is a rip off. They are contracted by Homebuyers Home Warranty to come out and repair/replace my sump pump. Once they got there I explained what another plumber from roto rooter explained to me about a "possible frozen drain pipe" which was not verified, and he took it as gospel truth. He reported to the home warranty company that my pump went bad because of an act of nature so therefore the warranty company did not cover it. However, when I told them that roto rooter also said that the pump was weak and that it needs to be replaced it reached end of life he in turn said that he has never seen that happened. I repeated what roto rooter said and asked as to why he jumped to conclusions by saying it's an act of nature. He said he can only go by what he sees and form what I told him and but he can't go by other plumbers said. Wait? He's reporting other plumbers' findings when it's convenient to him? He didn’t even look to see if he could find any evidence of ice. He did not hesitate to take on hundred dollars for me though as stipulated by the home warranty program. Don't hire this guy, he will rip you off.
