Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain

I never write these reviews, but my experience with Roto-Rooter in Wilmington has left such a bad impression on me, I felt like I needed to share my experience to warn other customers. I called to inquire about cost of installing new dishwasher and was given an appointment for the next day, time window 9am-11am. I had to take a half day off of work to be available for this appointment. I received a call from the dispatcher around 9:50am stating that they were working on finding a technician in my area. I received another call at 10:40am stating that they finally located a technician and that it would take about 30-40 mins for him to get to me. This automatically means he would be arriving outside of the time window they originally told me. The technician, Jonathan, then gives me a call himself around 10:50am saying he is about 20mins away. Great, I head over to the house, sit there until 11:30am where I still have not heard from the technician. I finally get a hold of him where he tells me he's stuck in traffic but he's "close" and then he hangs up on me. I call him back repeatedly to get an accurate ETA, and no response. I call the home office where they are able to get in contact with him, and they tell me he is 20mins away, which makes his ETA 12:15pm at this point, which is over an hour past the original window they quoted. Needless to say, I was furious and told the office I could not wait any longer because I needed to get back to work. When asked what policies they have in place to remedy a situation like this, the person on the phone did not have an answer for me , so clearly, customer service is not their highest priority. I am never inquiring about their services ever again, very unprofessional and have poor customer service.

I am more than pleased with the service that Michael provided. I called this company for the unclogging of a bathroom sink. He took care of the issue. He was on time, and very pleasant to talk to. He went above and beyond. Thanks Mike.

Called Roto- Rooters after Benjamin Franklin plumbing broke all my piping while snaking plus broke all my dry wall to find the snake.. Plumber caused a HORRIBLE leak everywhere then just went to his car to wait for his boss while I was desperately cleaned the mess and damaged he caused to my items! When his boss and some bald guy got there all their concern was finding the snake then they gave me an estimate of $1185 to fix the plumbing THEY broke! Which shocked me since they messed up and I have to pay as well?! Took days for them to give me a refund for snaking not done as well. Henry P from Roto- Rooter fixed the pipe they broke, installed a cleanup, changed the plumbing plus snaked it all with no issues at all and for less than the Benjamin thieves franklin were charging for only a broken pipe. Henry was very nice, understanding, effective, friendly, patient and stayed at my house all day and did not leave until all work was done and had us up and running again! We Will continue to use Roto rooters from now on. I would recommend them. They are fast, friendly and prices are not exaggerated like Benjamin Plumbing. I wish I would of called them 1st

I called, they came out very fast Michael was polite and efficient. Job was done and all is well.

We had a leak in our bathroom so we call the plumber at Roto Rooter and they sent out a tech immediately to fix the problem . Although, it taken four plus hours to fix our pipes no longer leak. Thank you Roto Rooter of Wilmington DE for saving the day! Sincerely, The Moyers
