Tom arrived on time and assessed the work. I then received a quote. Tom was welcoming and carried out all works in a neat, tidy and professional manner. He completed all tasks and kept me informed of what he had done and what he would do next. A brilliant job completed and he left a very happy customer.

Me and my partner call Tom everytime we are looking for any work for plumbing or heating, hes been out about 4 times so far the 1st was a boiler install which has been in about a year and a half now, we have had no issues at all. The last was a check of a gas fire. Would highly recommend, Tom arrives on time and is always friendly, helpful and gets the job done great value, would highly recommend!

I saw an advert for BG for half price off boilers, running until the end of October. I booked the appointment, took half a day off work for an engineer from British Gas to provide me with a quote for the work I needed which was a boiler and 4 radiators or just a boiler. The BG engineer arrived, surveyed the property and guessed the price because the computer and printer wouldn’t work!! £4000 - £5000 he said! Wow! I said what if I just had the boiler done, he said £3000- £4000! I said even with the half price boiler? Yes, he said. Howzat, I asked? It’s the labour he said!!! He then left saying I would get the quote via email. I haven’t heard from BG since, despite contact with them via their website and telephone calls. I was desperate. I couldn’t face another winter in a cold house. Tom Prince was recommended to me, (I did my research still and he had good reviews) so called him. Tom was there within a day, I told him what I was after and he explained everything to me and gave me options; a quote was provided as quick as. I had a new boiler, 5 radiators and new pipes installed for my 2 bed within 2 weeks for less than the cost of BG just putting a boiler in and am delighted. Not just for the lower cost but he was a delightful contractor. The work was done over 4 days in the week. If Tom said he was going to be there at a designated time he was there. If he was going to be late, he let you know in advance; excellent quality of work, a very polite and hardworking guy. He was clean, tidy and carried out a sterling job. He explained everything to me and I will be recommending him if I hear the words ‘do you know of a plumber’! I was very wary of plumbers because of the flooding (water pouring through my living room light fittings) botched power flushes that previous cowboys have done. Therefore, all the stars I have given Tom are not Gold but Platinum! Nice one Tom.
