They were very dishonest on the prices. I paid $290 for nothing just for them coming out. I already knew what the problem was, but they just said that and left. What a waste of money. Just to fix it , they wanted to charge over $1400. When i asked them to lower a price they said they couldn't. So i contacted another company and they were much better! They charged a whole different price , it was much lower. The guy for that company showed up no FEES! I DO NOT suggest this company, its a big waste of money! Go for another company trust me they might be better than this.

Very professional and the workers are superb! I use them for my home and other properties. I recently installed a split system and Jonny is helping me with the paper work to submit for rebates. Jonny is honest, kind and very knowledgeable. The other people I got quotes with for the split system never mentioned the rebates. I highly recommend everyone to use F/J Hess & Sons!

From start to finish our entire experience was perfect. When our heater Unit, of 20 years..died in February, the technicians came out to tell us what was wrong. Jonny gave us 3 New options, but they weren't in our budget. We decided to repair and replace the parts since the Fall and colder weather was approaching. From the contract signing, F/J was on time, worked around my work schedule and kept communication open which everyone knows is key in the service industry. This weekend we arrived and had not heat.Jonny came out himself ..and had been honest from the beginning that other parts can go at anytime.We are so pleased on many levels. His professional personality is spot on.Probably one of the nicest, no BS, kind of guys. We would definitely use this company again, as well as recommend.

We've had FJ Hess install both ductless air conditioning and a tankless boiler in the past year. In both cases they quoted a reasonable price and did excellent work. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

recently had our water pump go off, Called Hess and they checked it out and my wife called me at work and asked if we should get a second opinion. The workers were there and said it might be 1700 if thepump was shot.I told her we have used HESS before and if we cant trust them I don't have a plumber. Their honesty should never be challenged based on my experience and they found wiring problems at 350. If you need a plumber in the Pocono area first and only HESS, OUR PLUMBER.
