Our water heater went out the NIGHT BEFORE Thanksgiving and after leaving messages at a couple 'big' plumbing/home supply companies, I called Burr Oak Plumbing. Peter not only answered my call ON THANKSGIVING DAY, but he spent time to answer all of my questions and made arrangements to come the next day. He arranged for and delivered and installed two new heaters and re-piped a better solution to use the heaters moving forward. Peter is very experienced and knowledgeable and did excellent work at a fair price.
Peter is proof that there are still good and honest people in this world. He called me within minutes after I requested service via the website, and was more than happy to come out, but advised me to try something first. I followed his advice and resolved the issue myself. Wow. If I ever need plumbing service again, I will definitely call him first. What a great guy :-)
Texted Peter on a Saturday evening. He came by after hours and found and fixed my blockage problem. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and use again.

Though I haven't yet had to actually hire Peter for any work to be done in my home, I had a very positive experience with him that I believe warrants a review. I had been dealing with a minor leak coming from my kitchen faucet since moving into our new home a few weeks ago. I called Peter (on a recommendation from a friend who has used him), and he ended up spending over 20 minutes on the phone with me walking me thru some possible fixes. As it turns out, a simple replacement of the aerator (which was less than $10 and 2 minutes of work) seems to have resolved the issue. Rather than coming out and charging me a service fee (as I believe MOST plumbers would do), he actually took the time on the phone to speak with me, and ultimately saved me both time and money. The next time I am in need of a plumber, I will definitely be reaching out to Peter and Burr Oak Plumbing, as he has earned my business.
