hired this company to install a purification system for my house. The verbal estimate was for $800-$1200 (which was expensive to start with) but he had to open the walls first to make sure. He removed the water heater, opened all the walls and said that I had poured concrete and the job would be very difficult to do and the price would be higher. Finally he calls me saying that the job would be $2500 to $3000 because in copper alone it would be over $1000. He didn't know I am in the construction and service industry and materials are nowhere close to that. I declined to work with him and he left a complete mess and didn't even reconnect the heater. I just think this is the wrong way of doing business. You cannot triple your estimate once you start opening walls. Update: walls are open and are block, not concrete. I hired another company that charged me $800 and did a fantastic job. I asked RD Plumbing to leave because it is an abuse to Triple your estimate. Minimum to honor your reputation, if an estimate is not agreed, is to leave an clean up and not just leave.

We recently hired RD plumbing again to do another plumbing project for us. My husband previously reviewed him (5 stars) for the last project, and he didn't disappoint this time either. He was very upfront, timely, and focused on quality. Very deserving of another 5 star review! Thank you Rich and team! Highly recommended for any plumbing related projects you have!!

If I could give 10 Stars, I would! If you need a plumber call Rich. From the initial contact he was very responsive and came over to look at my water heater, he contacted Rheem to check warranty status. He then came back, drained, installed, repiped and did an amazing job. He even went out of his way to complete the task.He's relentless, knowledgable, and personable. He doesn't cut corners and has a great work ethic. -Robert Edit: Called Rich for another job a few months ago to replace Washer dryer hookups and he did a good job and even did some repiping 5 stars

Richard was very informative. Explained the issue was not a plumbing issue but a septic issue and did not charge me since they were not able to do the work and that I have to call a septic company. I will definitely use him again if I have a plumbing issue.
