Goldstar has been been to our house twice to make alterations to our bedrooms. The first time was to take out the airing cupboard to give us more space in one of the bedrooms. The second was to put back a partition wall that had been removed to create a large third bedroom. The work was completed to a very high standard and we were delighted with the finished rooms. Gary was very clean and tidy and completed both jobs in a timely manner. I would thoroughly recommend him.

We have used Gary for a number of jobs now (internal and external paining, floor laying, plumbing, gutter clearance amongst other things) and he has always done a fantastic job. He is prompt, works hard, and finishes jobs to a high standard providing good value for money. We would highly recommend him.

I've used Goldstar several times for help getting my house ready for letting out. The quality of the work has been outstanding and he is incredibly professional and friendly. We had been carrying out research on the net for a few weeks as we wanted to modernise our kitchen. We had looked at the major national companies but as we believe in supporting local independent businesses we carried on searching until we came across Gold Star. We read previous customer feedback and viewed the gallery, we liked what we saw therefore contacted Gary who was at the time abroad on holiday, however he sent a text straight back. On his return we arranged a time suitable for us for him to visit, talk through the work we wanted carrying out. We talked in depth and we were so impressed with his professionalism and attitude we decided to wait for his quote prior to contacting anyone else for a quote. A few days later a quote was emailed and we decided to put our trust in Gary to complete the work and we are so glad we did. The supplier of the kitchen doors had sent some wrong sizes and colours but Gary took ownership of these problems, visited the supplier and sorted it out on our behalf. Gary kept us informed throughout the work and cleaned up every evening prior to departing enabling us to use the kitchen throughout. Even though these problems were incurred, the price Gary quoted was the price we paid, there were no added extras, or problems along the way that needed paying for, which is so rare these days. Gold Star is true value for money, in fact you get more than you pay for. Gary’s workmanship is second to none, the kitchen has surpassed our expectations and we are so pleased with the end product. It was a true pleasure having such a craftsman carry out the work. We would not hesitate in having Gary back to complete other jobs for us, in fact he is coming back next week to carry out a little revamp to the downstairs W.C. The downstairs toilet suite i think was thrown in when the house was built, however in less than a day Gary sorted it all out for us. The work has been carried out to an extremely high standard and now looks amazing. It is such a relief to know that we have now found someone that we can trust to carry out all the jobs and improvements round the house. It is so rare to have found someone that cares about their customer and listens to exactly what they want. Gary is a true craftsman and we are already searching round the home for the next job!! I needed Gary to do various jobs around the house ranging from fitting an electric shower and kitchen tap to various odds and ends around the house and in the garden before we moved away for a year. I found Gary to be reliable and the work was good value. I would recommend him to anyone looking for these services.
