A Wessex drainage vehicle tore up behind my car this afternoon, Sunday 24 th March at 14.20. I was doing 30 mph in the 30 limit southbound on the A372, Newtown, Langport. He was clearly going faster. To get past us, he then cut through the busy petrol forecourt at Shires garage. How do you want your company represented? By a speeding driver, who has no regard for the safety of other motorists making a risky manoeuvre to overtake one vehicle? Now I didn't care about being overtaken as I'd rather this type of driver be ahead of me. Ironically, there were 3 way temporary lights awaiting us around the corner. He waited in the queue ahead of us and didn't profit from his aggressive driving. The reg. number was BN12 XJV.
The guys know what they're doing and always do a good job. Will always be honest and upfront about any costs.
