These guys give contractors a bad reputation. One time they secured a contract to upgrade water main on our residential street. The work began in the middle of summer. They brought heavy digging equipment, trailers, pilons. A month later they opened up the road and left. Another month later they returned and by end of October finally replaced the piping, closed off the road with dirt and gravel and left once more. In December they returned to patch up the road with asphalt, just like they were supposed to do 2 months prior. We thought that was it. No more noise, no more mess. Imagine our surprise when the same crew returned to our street in February. The pipes they placed underground developed a leak! However, since there is no telling where exactly the water escapes, they had to open up the entire road again... Today is March and they are still digging... Perhaps, they are looking for a treasure... not the water main.
