Preferred Construction

These guys are amazing! George and his crew started the work the day it was scheduled and continued without problems. I live in a multi family building and had my bathroom remodeled. They scheduled with my building maintenance and neighbors on when they needed the water shut off and access to other areas. They were very knowledgeable and suggested small changes that made all the difference. I could not have asked for more. Just did the work on time, on budget, iand on schedule. Thank you guys!!!!

Got a quote from Mark at the company for a fireplace remodel and kitchen update I told Mark we were working with a designer and the we would work with preferred to get the materials that we want in the colors that we want them in. Mark came in measured and then just gave me a verbal quote (nothing written, I had to take my own notes). Then when I went to get a contract in place (as someone would do when spending almost $15K) I got a lot of heat from Jason the sales/marketing person. He said they are highly rated and the contract is standard and so on and so forth. Then the next day I texted Jason samples of materials we wanted to use and he texted back “After speaking with Mark we are not able to accept the project at the price bid, working with an outside designer will double the cost. You can call mark directly to discuss this if needed. It's very time consuming and difficult to work with outside design and achieve results exactly to plan. We do appreciate your interest we apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you kindly.” I asked is this how you do business? He said it was policy and I asked where that was written and Jason said “The owner states that, have a nice day sir”. I also texted Mark and got no response. I finally got a hold of Carlos the owner and he said that Jason sometimes goes off his rocker and that he would get back to me about my situation. I wanted to hear from the owner as to why our job and money was no good. I have yet to hear from the owner about the situation. They also steal photos from other websites and use them as their own work. A simple Google image search will prove this to be true. I am sure that a response from Jason to this review is coming that will say I am somehow in the wrong and they are highly-rated and they did nothing wrong. Beware of this company. They are too busy to return calls, they can’t answer simple questions and refuse to work with you if you have a designer. Pass on them.

I want to show you the before and after pics of my remodel, its absolutely amazing. I appreciate the communication and help through the whole process. From the first day I called preferred construction they responded fast. They let me know they start date was about 30 days away, this gave me time to shop for the perfect tile. After finding exactly all the items that were perfect for my bathroom, they started. Once started they were in and out in one an half weeks. Just like Carlos stated they finished on time, and the work is amazing. I want t thank Carlos and every one at Preferred Construction, for doing such an amazing job. 5 Stars
