Q's Plumbing and Heating

I called Q's plumbing because all the positive reviews i read online. The guys arrived late although very courteous and nice. At the start, they quoted roughly $450 for labor the install the hot water mixing valve for a radiant heated floor. I thought it seemed a little high because I would be paying both guys and it seemed like a one man job. About 2.5 hours into the installation, they were on the phone with the owner because they didn't know how to get the air out of the pipes after installing the new valve. The owner come by and they start turning on and off the AC unit, to get the room where the radiant heated floor was cooler. After a couple few more hours it was dark outside they said they got it working and the owner said they will take some time off of the final bill. The total charge still came out to slightly over $1,000! I was like, might as well pay and thanked them for staying late. If they had a guy that knew what he was doing from the start, the bill would have been a lot less. Now a day later, I realize my AC unit is no longer turning on? WTH! If I could give zero or negative stars I would. In reply to the owner, I called first for someone to come out and turn my AC back on and you put me on voicemail, I left a message and was never replied to, what do you mean wait until I was behind my keyboard?

Cant speak highly enough of Marc and his team - bought a duplex, and found out after the closing that one side had no water, one side needed a water heater, and the blowoff valve’s were not the right size. His crew came out quickly and took care of everything I needed in one day. Thanks so much for the great service!

Rapid response on a Saturday and three full days of troubleshooting and repair the next week. I really appreciate Marc and his people. They were Professional and Courteous at all times. Affordable and worked well while dealing with the insurance company. I can not emphasize enough how quickly and expertly they assisted to correct in what I felt was a major catastrophe. Thank you and I will always have one his cards to hand out.

We chose Q's plumbing based on the reviews/recommendations. Initially, I was pleased. They answered the phone, scheduled our appointment, and sent out confirmation 2 hours prior with the name of the plumber assigned to our job. 10 minutes before the appointment time, I get a call cancelling the appointment because the plumber had walked off the job and they had no one to cover my job. My tenant had taken the afternoon off of work to meet with Q's and was at the house waiting. I inquired about weekend availability so my tenant would not have to take off additional time. I was told that weekends are only for emergencies and were charged at $300 an hour. I asked whether they would make an exception as they had failed to keep their scheduled appointment and had only given 10 minutes notice so my tenant was already at home waiting. The person on the phone started talking over me telling me that that was not going to happen and that I could just call another plumber if I didn't like it. The lack of professionalism in our communication made that decision easy. We called someone else and less than 4 hours later have the shower fixed.
