ARS / Rescue Rooter Ft. Walton Beach

Janet and I were shopping for a ductless unit and phoned Home Depot to schedule an appointment for an assessment to determine our comfort needs. Sir John Popovich was assigned to us and what an extremely knowledgeable, courteous and amazing professional he is. John guided us through the entire process with complete confidence in his product and he undying search for the best financing possible. John us with a very satisfied feeling in the purchase and the boys that performed the install were of the same mold. Thank you all for a wonder buying experience!!

Derek is a top notch technician. He inspected my unit during my semi-annual tuneup, found problems that would need attention. He recommended that with the unit being old (10 yrs +), I might want to consider replacing with a newer, more energy efficient unit. He discussed options of a new unit vs. cost of repairing current unit (over and over). Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. One recommendation was a UV light and Electrostatic filter which I already had installed in previous years. One of the best investments for cleaner air and keeping our aging system clean and running better. I wouldn't have any system without either of these capabilities, especially if you have allergies.

First let me say that I called ARS on Friday afternoon when our ac coils started getting frost on them. They made an appointment for for the next day which was Saturday. We have them do an annual inspection every Spring but we're late doing it this year. Mike was the tech and he did a good job. He had to add refrigerant, checked everything else and even stayed an extra few minutes to check that the the air temp was what it was supposed to be. Our unit is 20 years old and even though he gave us the info we needed regarding a new unit, he did not push and pressure us to do so. He seems like an honest person and was very respectful.

I had a dual zone heat pump installed by ARS beginning April 3, 2014. This was purchased at Home Depot on Davis at Brent Lane. The experience has not been a positive one. One of the units (Goodman) had to be replaced. The other unit didn't have the heat strips turned on and an additional service call was required to turn them on. I've lost track of the service calls that have been needed. Multiple flex-ducts have not been attached to the vents they lead to. I have two air-returns and one of them is loose and cold air (or warm and humid air - depending on the outdoor climate) spills freely into the house. Also any creature that can fit into this space (this would include any insect, snake or rodent small enough to fit through the grill of the floor vent) is free to come and go. The city code enforcement inspector has come FOUR (4) times to sign-off on the installation that took place 23 months ago and it still hasn't passed inspection. I have flex-ducts installed that have 180 degree bends in them by bad design. I became aware of and reported the loose air return but 2 weeks ago and it hasn't been corrected. I would not ever recommend this company to anyone.

Thank god for Tim N at ARS Rescue rooter... After getting a main Circuit board on my house installed from (Golf Power) my Ac Compressor did not turn on ...I called ARS and got this nice lady on the phone that told me that some one will be there shortly..After about 1 hour Tim called and told me that he is on his way from Navarre (about 30 min away) and will see whats going on. As he arrived he Ck the main fuse box and got power back to the AC unit so that we we have now cold air in the house again he also found out that my fuses in the main box were my old ones and needed to be replaced .. ARS Deliverers Fast and good work, is right to the point of Explaining the problem . .We will be customers for life !!! Thank you Tim ...
