Fix-It Rite!

I am truly blown away by this company. Kind, intelligent, honest, reliable... I've had an AC unit from you-know-where and these men worked their butts off trying to find a way to fix the issue without charging me an arm and a leg. I expected to have to pay SO much more than we did. They feel like family by the time they leave. I'd recommend them to my grandmother. Love love love them!

DO NOT HIRE UNLESS TIME IS THE ONLY CONCERN AND PRICE DOESN'T MATTER! Note - This review is directed at the price ONLY, not the service technician. The technician was very professional and competent. I recently had my GE Artica Profile ice maker replaced due to it overflowing. I contacted several companies on Yelp to have it repaired. Fix-It Rite was the first company to respond. They charged $75 to come diagnose the problem. The ice maker was replaced along with the water valve and the coils blown out (both at the recommendation of the service technician). The coil cleaning was an additional $50. The final price was $492.86 for the 1) ice maker, 2) water valve, 3) and coil cleaning. I requested an itemized receipt but was told everything was billed on a flat rate. The entire service took about 1.5 hours. I received additional quotes from multiple other companies, 2 of which stand out and I wish I had gotten them sooner. Both quotes itemized the costs. 1) Appliance 2Day *Final price = $221.97 *First Appointment Available 1/25/18 2) Placer Appliance Repair & Installations *Final Price = $269.12 *First Appointment Available 01/26/17 In the end I am sure that the repair will be fine I am just really bummed that it cost about double the price. I will not recommend Fix-It Rite to my family or friends. I would recommend both Appliance 2Day and Placer Appliance Repair & Installations.
