After purchasing a septic tank and having it installed by C. S. Hines, when it came time to pump, my Dad decided to go with the company that installed for the pump service. Thinking that this was a good practice, we were more than disappointed when the truck operator arrived today, found the two caps and then when he couldn’t remove, told my Dad that he would have to bust a whole in it to get it open and pumped out. Concerned that this could lead to more damage, Dad asked who would be responsible for the damaged lid to which we were told, “we do this all the time and all you have to do is put plastic on it. After calling the office, talking to the owner and asking the same questions, being told that “once we install we are no longer responsible” and saying that he should call the person who made the tank and then being hung up on, needless to say that this was the last time we will call this company for any service. If told that this could potentially happen when the tank was installed, this would not have been a shock today but nonetheless, the customer service finishing with a hang up was totally unacceptable and unprofessional.

They scheduled me and never showed. My husband took a whole day off and now has to take another due to getting scheduled finally with another locally owned septic business out of Elizabeth City.By time we got a response that they were not coming at almost 6 o'clock every other company was closed. The receptionist said the technician would be to our house around 2. So meanwhile, with the first call for a appointment we had minor issues. By time these inconsiderate people responded our bath tubs were filling up and we have five children unable to use any water or gi to the bathroom at home and had to transport them to local conveinence stores. We could have called another company. So C.S. Hines in Moyock response was they could be out first thing in the morning. REALLY, I will not give you a dime of my money ever after yesterday and how unprofessional they were. I have seen these company signs forever going hone and if this is how you treat first time customer's, i have no clue how you are in business and two locations. Stop over booking and making promises you don't intend to keep because no one wants poo all over their floors. Don't use this company unless you have a back-up.

Bad. Just bad. Shady. Showed up two days before our appointment only to crack our piping. Then, they wont take responsibility for it. I called the company to discuss what they did and the owner not only told me he had never made a mistake but he hung up on me once I told him I had pictures to prove it. Who shows up to someone's home without consent, digs multiple wholes because he cant find our septic then blames us for the cracks?? I have pictures.

Horrible service and RUDE STAFF!! I booked an inspection for my client giving them all their information and requesting the inspection be done appropriately. I explained there was a contractor lock box on the property and asked if they needed someone there as the property was vacant. They assured me no one had to be present to complete the inspection. They showed up for inspection and called stating they were going to charge for having to back out to the property because no one was there. After explaining my previous conversation they rescheduled but were not friendly about it at all. When calling the day after services where completed I asked For the invoice for my client. They refused to give me the invoice and documentation stating the inspection was clear. The lady on the phone told me to call my client and hung up on me. NEVER NEVER USING THEM AGAIN.

Highly recommend for septic system repair. Came to my home yesterday and was very polite and helpful. Would recommend to everyone that will ask.
