Karl Taylor review about company Herbert Plumbing

We had a toilet in our basement that came loose. We tried to fix it ourselves but could not do it. We called Herbert Plumbing who gave us an idea of what might be wrong with it and the cost of item with a worse case scenario (replacement of the toilet). The price were competitive with other plumbers in the area. However, he seemed the most honest and direct about it. Obviously we went with Herbert Plumbing. Charles came to our house same day, even with a last minute booking. It was a busted flange...showed us what the flange is and explained our options. We had him repair the toilet flange. He completed the work in approximately 15 minutes. The cost was lower than expected. His assistant was great at cleaning it up. As a side note: the bathroom was cleaner than when they had arrived. Not sure if it was part of the service but we felt as if they went the extra mile and did not try to over price their service to us. The work was done over 6 months ago now and the toilet has not loosened. As matter of fact, my upstairs commode is looser than the basement so I sneak downstairs to use the better one...its worth the trip!!! :D
