Lucinda F review about company Lumena City Cleaning Services

I have taken time to write a review to avoid others from having the same experience I did... I arranged through a concierge company to have my home Spring Cleaned. The responded with a quote from Lumena AKA Fulham Property Maintenance Ltd, of £18 + VAT /hr. While I found this to be a premium rate, I was happy to pay as it was meant to be a Spring Clean. Two ladies arrived the same day, and got to work for 2 hours. The work had not been completed that day, and so one lady returned the following day for 5 hours. At the end of the 9 hour shift, I was utterly disappointed in what was meant to be a complete and thorough clean of my home. When I communicated my disappointment, along with photographic evidence, I was told that the cleaners did not have enough time to clean 5 floors, and that they had spent 11 hours cleaning. This was clearly completely incorrect information, as my home is only 3 floors, and the cleaners were only there for 9 hours. They had also, mentioned cleaning areas, which had already been cleaned by my partner the week before - front garden and entrance. The company then responded with apologies, and an offer of 20% off. Although I found this a rather ridiculous offer- considering I then had to go and clean several areas which I initially asked to be done when I was quoted; as well as re-clean areas they had just not done properly. I would not advise anyone to use this company, as they are terrible at communicating with clients, and charge premium prices for what is clearly mediocre work.
